A drag chain conveyor is an instrument in which the open links of a chain, drag the material along the bottom of a specially designed trough.
Drag chain conveyors work by pulling a volume of material along with a chain-and-flight combination. Different flights/paddles are attached to the chain, and the material is dragged from various charging points to various discharge points.
