The swing hammer is used to shred or crush aggregate material into smaller pieces by repeatedly striking it with little hammers
Swing hammers are essentially steel drums with rotating shafts or drums on which hammers are mounted. Depending on the model, the hammers may swing on the ends of the cross or be fixed to the central rotor. A rotor is spun inside a drum at high speed. By impacting the material with the hammer bars, the material is shredded and expelled through screens in the drum.
